About Us

YWAM Foundation (Project Funding) is an organization based in Vancouver, BC, dedicated to the administrative processing and receipting of financial donations from Canadian individuals and organizations who wish to support the work of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). We have been actively engaged in managing donations for thousands of YWAM Projects and Operating Locations worldwide for over four decades. Today, we continue to uphold our mission of streamlining the donation process, which empowers missionaries to continue to carry out their transformative work.

OUR SERVICES:

At our organization, we offer a range of services to facilitate donations and support for YWAM Projects. Here's how our process works:

1. Donations Account Setup: We establish a donations account in partnership with an active YWAM staff member or YWAM Operating Location. Before signing a contract with us, they undergo a verification process led by their respective leader.
2. Active Account Maintenance: To ensure the account remains active, our partners must renew their contract every two years. Additionally, they are required to submit detailed reports regularly, providing updates on their work activities.
3. Convenient Donation Channels: Donors have the flexibility to contribute funds through various methods, as listed on our "Ways to Give" page. We issue tax receipts to donors in accordance with the CRA’s receipting requirements.
4. Efficient Donation Processing: We carefully allocate donations to our YWAM Projects. To cover the expenses involved in managing our operations, we apply a 5% administration fee on every donation received.
5. Monthly Disbursements: On the 25th day of each month, we transfer all donations received during the previous month to the relevant YWAM Projects. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive report to each Project that outlines all donations we have allocated to them within that time frame.
